The Solstice is always a turning point and today, we feel that a little extra, with Uranus square the Nodes.

The Solstice is the moment when the Sun reaches its northern or southern peak, the days begin to lengthen or shorten. The symbolism of Cancer ♋︎ reflects this turning; a movement between two directions, two cycles, two ways of evolving or deepening.

Uranus squares the Nodes, creating a collective and personal choice point. Unexpected events, insights and disruptions can reveal what is no longer aligned and what is asking to emerge.

At the same time, Isis joins Jupiter while Mercury joins Osiris, reminding us of the importance of communication, meaning-making and re-membering what has become fragmented or forgotten.

Saturn conjunct Salacia asks us to give structure to our dreams, imagination and playfulness: vision becomes more powerful when it can take form.

As the Sun enters Cancer, it forms a sextile to Chiron while the First Quarter Moon in Libra highlights decisions, adjustments and forward movement. Cancer is associated with the Chariot in the Tarot: learning how to navigate life’s crossroads with intention.

With the Sun semi-sextile Uranus and Sedna while Uranus squares the Nodes, this Solstice is about conscious participation.

Instead of trying to figure out which direction feels safest, chose:

Which direction feels most aligned with the person you are becoming?
