This Scorpio New Moon invites you to go deeper, to look beyond what is immediately visible and explore the emotional, psychological and energetic foundations upon which you have constructed your reality.

Before you can begin again, you need to understand what you are actually beginning from.

Take a deep breath and go deeper: explore the parts of yourself you previously didn’t want to see.

The Sun and Moon oppose Medusa in Taurus. She reminds you to discern the difference between familiarity and actual safety. In this changing world, you can intellectually justify attachments, relationships and circumstances that actually obstruct your flow. Medusa reveals where you may be overriding your instincts and holding yourself back.

The New Moon also makes a sextile to Isis and Orcus in Virgo, inviting you to understand more about why you are here now. You have a unique part to play in the evolution of humanity. This deep-dive lunar cycle offers an opportunity to discover the missing pieces of your own story and how they contribute to the greater whole.

Jupiter conjuncts the South Node just after the New Moon. This speaks to a release on a global scale: of ego, greed and toxic leadership. You have already been observing these themes playing out.

Mercury and Venus retrogrades are still asking you to explore a collective and individual ‘why?’. As they come out of their retrogrades, the energy will begin to move more freely. However, both remain in their post-retrograde shadow periods throughout this Scorpio lunar cycle, supporting your continued examination of conversations, relationships, values and decisions.
