Horus in Libra

Asteroid Horus (1924) moves into Libra, the realm of beauty, choice, relationship and harmony.

Horus is deeply connected to the mythology and mysteries of the skies. In ancient Egypt, his eyes were associated with the Sun and Moon, and the Eye of Horus became a symbol of protection, vision and restored wholeness.

We are approaching the Equinox on 23 September, the great balance between day and night, light and darkness.

Horus begins his journey through Libra as the sky itself reaches a point of equilibrium.

Another myth from Egypt tells us that the Eye of Horus originally had a connection with Venus as the morning and evening star.

This is where astrology makes the archetypes come alive:

On 1 November, Horus meets Venus at 25° Libra, during her retrograde, as she transforms from Evening Star to Morning Star.

Horus witnesses this process and protects you as you move through your own Venus Underworld journey; returning you to your deep inner knowing and restoring your connection with your heart’s truth.

Horus protects through recognition: recognising what is yours and what belongs to another. This is an incredibly powerful skill because when we connect through emotion, the boundaries between self and other can become blurred.

Venus belongs to Libra, she speaks to what you value, what attracts you, what you find beautiful and what you choose to bring into relationship.

Horus asks you to see what you are choosing.

Relational sovereignty becomes possible when two people can remain fully themselves while creating something together.

Loving without losing yourself.

Like day meeting night at dusk, there is a melting and fading into one another, and also the strength to pull oneself back towards oneself and simply be.

Both are possible at the same time.

And this is how I see Horus: you are more than the sum of your parts.

So much has shaped you: your lineage, your life, your love, your experiences.

But you are you!
