Sedna (90377), the Inuit Sea Goddess, transforms everything you thought you knew.

In myth, Sedna is married off for survival. When the arrangement fails, she calls on her father to rescue her. On the journey home, fear takes over. To save himself, he throws her into the icy sea. As she clings to the boat, he cuts her fingers away.
