Eclipse Seasons are cosmic thresholds, liminal spaces where endings, beginnings, and revelations occur: they provide moments to realign with your soul’s purpose and step through invisible doors. The cycle between the New Moon in Virgo (23 August) and the Solar Eclipse in Virgo (21 September) creates space for the New Archetype of Virgo to emerge. She will no longer be the adaptable assistant, fussy fault-finding perfectionist, your worst irritable (inner) critic, analytical (over) thinker, militant health freak, inhospitable event organiser, or the over-sensitive dutiful self-sacrificing helper. She rises as a Priestess; pure, wholesome, sovereign, alchemical, meticulous, discerning, moderating, mentally and spiritually agile and deeply attuned to the Rhythm of the Earth and subtle currents of the Cosmos.

The Virgo of the times is a modern mystic who integrates autonomy, sacred service, elemental mastery, Mercury’s intelligence, and Chiron’s healing gifts. They are no longer limited by perfectionism, rigid earthbound service, or self-sacrifice. They are alive, expansive, and fully sovereign.

In the Age of Pisces we have seen the Shadow Virgo, hence traditionally Virgo has been known for their analytical mind, attention to detail, perfectionist tendencies, organisational skills  and service orientation. While these qualities hold value, they often come with limitations: self-criticism, overwork, and a narrow focus on earthly matters. Virgo’s old archetype was bound by duty, sometimes at the cost of their own vitality and soul.
